Please read this carefully before purchasing any items or training.
Returns
Our returns and refund policy last 14 days from date of delivery. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
All products are new and covered under the Manufacturer’s warranty. Product defects must be handled by contacting the manufacturer directly.
- No returns will be accepted without prior approval from Safe Haven Defense. Please contact us via email in order to receive an RMA number (return merchandise authorization). No returns will be accepted without an RMA number. We will send you an RMA form that will have detailed information on how and where to ship your item(s).
- All returns must be made within 14 days of product delivery.
- A 15% restocking fee will be charged for all returned items.
- All returns must be new and in the original unopened packaging. All accessories, documentation, and registration cards must be included with the return.
- Shipping charges for product returns are non-refundable.
Absolutely NO RETURNS of firearms, ammunition, optics, flashlights, lasers, knives, barrels, barreled receivers, and tools. No exceptions.
Firearms
* Cancellations – Firearm(s) cancellations will incur a 15% restocking fee, unless exchanged for an item(s) of equal or greater value and must be cancelled prior to shipping.
* Returns – No returns will be accepted for firearms after transfer from the dealer to the buyer – this applies both to firearms purchased at Safehavendefense.org or transferred to another FFL dealer. Firearms cannot be returned unless found to be defective or damaged upon inspection at the dealer. Please inspect your firearm thoroughly and refuse to proceed with the paperwork or transfer if you are not satisfied with the condition of the firearm. After the firearm is transferred into your possession, any warranty issue will have to be addressed through the firearm manufacturer.
Any firearms purchased at Safehavendefense.org or transferred to Safehavendefense.org that are left unclaimed for more than 30 days will be considered abandoned and re-sold.
Accessories
All returned/exchanged items must be in new (unmounted/uninstalled) and resalable condition, complete with packaging. Returns must be made within 14 days of purchase along with an original receipt. All items being returned for refund or exchange will incur a 10% restocking fee, unless exchanged for an item(s) of equal or greater value.
Training Courses
All training courses are taught under the strict guidance of the authors of said courses. Courses are taught under the care of National Rifle Association, United States Concealed Carry Association, and American Heart Association. Complaints about course material or any instruction should be emailed to info@safehavendefense.org. No refunds for courses after completion, no exceptions. We will make every effort possible to make sure our customers are completely satisfied with their training and will do our best to correct and situations that are not deemed satisfactory.
Please use the original shipping box in which your order was shipped to make your return. A valid RMA number must be written clearly on the outside of the packaging or on the original receipt that accompanied your order. Please do not ship back your return item in just the manufacturer’s box. The customer is responsible for shipping charges and insurance on all return shipments. If your shipping carrier has lost or damaged your package, please contact them directly.
Additional non-returnable items:
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Book with obvious signs of use
- CD, DVD, VHS tape, that has been opened.
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us via at sales@safehavendefense.org
Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at sales@safehavendefense.org and send your item to: {physical address}.
Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.
Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to the address provided in the RMA.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
