This course is Safe Haven Defense’s “Shoot, Don’t Shoot” course that many are familiar with, and few get to train on.
A NEW course utilizing simulator technology using scenarios ranging from home invasions, robberies, burglaries, assaults, to active shooter incidents. This course is designed as a build-upon of our Intro to Handguns course, our Legal Update Seminar, and our Aftermath of a Self Defense Incident although they are not a prerequisite.
You will be placed in these scenarios and required to make split second, life or death, decisions under rapidly evolving circumstances. This course is meant to test your skills in real-world scenarios that a concealed carry or law enforcement officer (depending on the student) could make. After each scenario, a full after-action debriefing will occur with USCCA-Certified Instructor/Retired Law Enforcement Officer. Each scenario will be broken down based on North Carolina Statutes, US Supreme Court & other pertinent case law, and US Codes to name a few.
This 3 (three) hour block of instruction cost $150 and is limited to 5 students and will include a review of laws pertaining to self-defense of yourself or others, and the opportunity to feel fully immersed in high-risk scenarios where seconds count and a Certificate of Completion.
