Description

These rifles are highly regarded for their excellent fit and finish, polished, deeply-blued steel, and finely checkered stocks with a shadowline cheekpiece. These features, and more, define the timeless grace and elegance of the Model 70 Super Grade AAA Claro. Claro is a beautiful specimen of walnut with dark brown coloration highlighted by dark mineral streaks. This wood is especially suited for a fine rifle with a history of excellence like the Super Grade. The expertly carved stock is accented with sharp checkering in a traditional fleur di lis pattern and finished with a black end cap, steel grip cap, and inletted swivel studs. The barreled action is finished with a rich, gloss blued finish that complements the grain of the claro. One-piece steel bottom metal and a cross bolt add extra rigidity to the Super Grade’s chassis for improved accuracy. The shadowline cheekpiece is beautifully functional.
